Survey Type: 3D Coordination

This stadium is used for national sports such as rugby and soccer. The work completed at this site was to determine 3 dimensional positions of the ground and TV camera locations to enable the stadium to be used in virtual advertising through Foxtel. Basically this allowed ads to change at any time during the broadcast which are shown on the ground surface. This is state of the art advertising currently being used in worldwide broadcasts.

This survey determined the location of the playing field and camera positions to an accuracy of 0.001m in 3D. This technology is at the forefront of the advertising world and is currently being displayed in many sport across the world such as Rugby, NFL Soccer, Badminton and Golf.
